Excellency the commitee of English speech contest. Excellency all
grand juries. Dear audience ladies and gentlemen. Firstly,
let's thank to our God Allah SWT who has given us the mercies and blessings.
Until we are able to attend this meeting without any troubles and
obstacles. Secondly, may shalawat and
salam always be with our beloved prophet Muhammad SAW, who brought us from the
darkness to lightness, from the wrong way to the right way, and from the
stupidity to the cleverness, namely Islam religion. Thirdly, standing in front of you all, I
would like to present my speech under the title :
“Madrasah Education Realizing Peaceful Islam”
Dear audience ladies and gentlemen
The madrasah is an
educational institution that combines general knowledge with religious
education. Therefore, it plays a very strategic role in shaping a generation
with noble character. The goal of education in the madrasah is not only to
produce students who are intellectually bright in worldly matters but also to
deepen their faith and devotion to Allah SWT. As Muslims, we have a
responsibility to establish peace in society. In the Qur’an, Surah Al-A’raf
verse 56, Allah SWT said:
أَعُوْذُ
بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ . بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
. وَلَا تُفْسِدُوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَاحِهَا
“And do not cause corruption on the earth after it
has been set in order.”
Dear audience ladies and gentlemen
This verse reminds us
to always maintain peace and prevent all forms of destruction. As an
educational institution, the madrasah instils the peaceful values of Islam by
teaching tolerance, mutual respect, and compassion for others. The Prophet
Muhammad SAW also said:
الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ، لَا يَظْلِمُهُ وَلَا
يُسْلِمُهُ
“A Muslim is a brother to another
Muslim; he does not oppress him nor does he abandon him.”
(Hadith narrated by Bukhari and Muslim).
This hadith teaches
us to be people who do not oppress or harm others and to always support fellow
Muslims in goodness. In the madrasah, teachers educate students to become
polite, caring individuals who respect differences. These values are the
primary keys to creating a peaceful and harmonious society.
Dear audience ladies and gentlemen
Islam is a religion
of peace, a religion that teaches mercy for all creation. Therefore, the
education in madrasah is always directed at producing an Islamic generation
that upholds the principles of peace and brotherhood. Through this education,
we hope that the younger generation can be role models in spreading the
peaceful teachings of Islam—rahmatan lil ‘alamin—bringing goodness to
their surroundings and avoiding harmful traits. Hence, let us all support and
promote madrasah education to realize a future generation that can build peace,
contribute to the nation, and embody Islam’s peaceful values.
Dear audience ladies and gentlemen
That’s all my speech about the Madrasah
Education Realizing Peaceful Islam. . I hope that what I have shared is beneficial and inspires us all to
continue supporting madrasah education in promoting peaceful Islam. Thank you very much for all your
attentions. Please forgive me if you have found mistakes during my speech.
Hopefully it will be useful and we can meet again in the same event and
opportunity. Goodbye and see you next time. The
last I say you all: Wassalamu’alaikum.Wr.Wb.
